Encouraging FATHERS to be STRONG
in their FAITH and
SPIRITUAL LEADERSHIP.
At DadStrong our mission is to encourage fathers to be STRONG in their FAITH and spiritual LEADERSHIP for their families. Studies show when dads regularly attend church with their families it increases their kids attendance as adults up to 75%.
We encourage you and the dads in your life to make a commitment to serve the Lord. Your dedication can have a lasting impact on future generations, starting with something as simple as taking your family to church. Research shows that this one act can greatly influence whether the next generation will continue to follow God.
By purchasing a DADSTRONG t-shirt you can help us spread the message to encourage fathers to be STRONG in their FAITH and spiritual LEADERSHIP for their families. Each t-shirt can be ordered in either black or grey with any of the 6 verses referenced below in strength, faith or leadership.
STRENGTH is a quality that refers to having the inner resources to overcome challenges with courage, perseverance and resilience.
"For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength."
(Philippians 4:13 NLT)
This is not just for the Christian superheroes; it is for every child of God, regardless of life's circumstances — especially the challenging ones. There is no trial or tragedy too difficult to endure when you have Jesus by your side.
"Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand."
(Isaiah 41:10 NLT)
These are words which not only inspire faith but confidence in the mighty God we serve. Furthermore, they remind us of the five promises God has made which can give you confidence that you do not need to fear. " I am with you", "I am your God", "I will help you", "I will stregthen you", "I will uphold you with My Righteous right hand." All promises to help equip us for any batttle or difficult storm we may face.
FAITH is a strong belief in something that is not backed by any proof or evidence. It is a personal conviction and can be based on religion, spirituality, or personal experiences.
“Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household.”
(ACTS 16:31 NIV))
This carries the promise of household salvation. It is a universal promise that reaches over time periods and context. The promise is not about universal household salvation, but it aligns fully with every other biblical verse on salvation. It is the assurance that if you have faith in the Lord Jesus, "you will be saved." Salvation will come to your household as each member hears the Word of God and individually responds in faith.
"Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong."
(1 Corinthians 16:13 ESV)
We are urged to "act like men," to "be men of courage," and to be strong. It is evident that our faith in Jesus Christ will encounter opposition from the surrounding culture, and we must be determined to stand firm in our faith with strength and courage.
Spiritual leadership is the pursuit of glorifying God by guiding others to grow in their faith and serve Him.
"Direct your children onto the right path, and when they are older, they will not leave it."
(Proverbs 22:6 NLT)
The Hebrew text of the passage is literally "Dedicate a child according to his way: and when he is old, he will not depart from it". The verse suggests that when we raise their children in a godly manner, there is a strong likelihood that those children will carry on living in a similar way as adults.
"...But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord."
(Joshua 24:15 NIV)
We are reminded of the vital role fathers play in shaping the spiritual atmosphere of the home. As fathers, we have both the privilege and responsibility to lead our families by cultivating our own relationship with God. Prioritize your faith, engage in spiritual practices, and have the strength to foster an environment that encourages your children to embark on their own journey of faith.
